Description

On Dave Solberg’s demo RV, the dome to the vehicle’s Winegard Air 360+ blew off somewhere along the way and exposed the components to sun and other elements. So the system is ruined and needs to be replaced, and with that comes an upgrade. An upgraded antenna means different fittings on the roof mount and new internal parts. In this quick video demonstration, Dave walks you through the process of installing a replacement antenna and making sure it’s securely fastened to the roof.

Luckily, the new antenna can be mounted in the same spot as the old one and has the ability for the coaxial cable to plug directly into the unit. Dave shows you how to remove the broken unit, install the replacement and seal it to the roof with silicone, and then hit the switch and tune in to your TV! It’s a pretty simple process, just need to keep a few things in mind when going through the process.
