We're at Lake Fireplace and Spa today in Clear Lake with Carol to talk about the different options in grills, woods, rubs, that type of stuff. Now, granted, they've got limited space in an RV so it's not like you're gonna take one of the 55 gallon drums here or something that, but there are some great options. Tell us about some of the new stuff that you have available. Well, one thing that would be easy to take in an RV and to take camping would be the Uuni wood-fired pizza oven. That uses wood pellets. You can set it on a picnic table, it's very portable. Another option would be the Green Mountain Grills' Davy Crocket and it is also portable and you can either directly plug it in or plug it into your cigarette lighter. So it runs off a 12 volt just like you would have in house batteries, in your RV? Yes. Okay. Uh-huh. And then a third option would be a smaller size Big Green Egg. Now the Big Green Egg is really hot in residential stuff Mm-hmm. But now you tell me, you take it camping with you? Yes. Tell me about that. We have a MiniMax and that comes in a nest with handles. It's weighs at least 60 pounds. So it takes my husband and I both to lift it but we can take it camping and set it on the picnic table and we don't have to worry about it blowing away. Okay. It's gonna be there. All right. So one of the things you're gonna find too is when you go camping you're not allowed to bring your own firewood typically from even county to county sometimes any firewood in at all. That's why it's some of these wood pellets are a good option? Right. So we offer many varieties and flavors. So the wood pellets, they come in a sealed bag. You can use them in both the Green Mountain Grill Davy Crockett and the Uuni wood-fired pizza oven. For the Big Green Egg you can use lump charcoal, natural charcoal and wood chips that we sell in bags here at the store too, for different flavors. So what's the advantage of the lump charcoal? I have a father-in-law that is a Weber fan. Mm-hm And we were talking about the lump charcoal. So what does that do? The lump charcoal is different from briquettes in that it's organic. So there are no fillers, no accelerants in it. And when you light it you are cooking with real wood, real charcoal. And so in a Big Green Egg, that's important because it's a ceramic cooker and anything you heat up in there is going to get into your ceramic and also into your food. Okay. So that's the difference. Okay. And some of the woods that you have that are like for smokers you can actually use in a regular grill as well? You've got some--I know some accessories that you can put in, into a grill. If you wanted to do smoking and cold smoking even you can buy a tube and use the wood pellets in it and you can smoke cheese, for example without even turning on your grill. Hm. And you know, so there's that option. Or if you have a smoker a little smoker and you want more smoke flavor, you can use the tube for that. Okay. So we just saw different cuts of meat. We were talking about your favorite. What's your favorite steak? My favorite steak. Well, probably probably sirloin. Sirloin? Yeah. And then what type of rub or you said you have certain favorites that you use. What would that be? Yeah. Well, our customers have favorites. Okay. The Cow Lick is a favorite for beef and steaks. Killer Hogs has the Steak Rub. The Oakridge Barbecue is a very popular, very fresh dry rub that we brought into the store just this year at customers' requests. And they have a steak rub that's very good. And Cosmos has a dry rub called Cow Cover. That's popular and probably our biggest seller and the John Henry's is the Texas brisket rub. Okay. But there it's anyone's it's whatever your pallet, whatever you desire. I think one of the funnest things about grilling and the rubs and stuff is, well, you've got the fun names first of all. And there are hundreds, it seems like, but just getting out and trying the different ones, finding if you like more of the pepper, more of the Chipotle. I've got a son-in-law that smokes all the time and he's constantly bringing something back and he keeps his favorites. And I see it at the campground too, where they've got their nice little spike rack--spice rack and just the fun of trying different things that are out there, stuff like that. So the options that you have, and, and by the way you there, the Big Green Egg does have a magazine that bring out. They bring out that is free of charge Right And it's a little bit about their product, but it's also recipes and fun things that you can do with the grills Right. And all, and any of the grills, the Uuni, the Green Mountain, all come with a lot of recipes. Okay. So that's kind of fun too. All right. But yeah, the lifestyle magazine has lots of recipes and things for you to try and we give it away free. Okay. Yeah. Well, you know, I grew up camping. We had four boys and every year we'd go out camping with the pop-up tents and and we cooked on the Coleman with the little pump thing. So the options today are just, Oh sometimes they're overwhelming, but it's just a matter of getting out. That Big Green Egg, and I think that is phenomenal. The pellets I can do my own wood and stuff like that. So get out to your local grill and accessories place. If you get a chance to come into North I would love to have you come To the Lake Fireplace and Spa here and look at their offerings and get out and enjoy your grill.
