Description

Discover why RVers around the country are agreeing that they have to have Dish Outdoors! Explore the Dish line of satellite options that allow you to travel with HDTV wherever you roam. In this quick video lesson, RV expert Dave Solberg walks you through the basics of Dish Outdoors bundles, which are simple to purchase, activate, and use, and best of all, you don’t have to have Dish at home to get it on the road. But if you do have Dish at home, it only costs five dollars a month to add an RV receiver to your lineup.

Getting started: how to set up Dish Network on your RV

The first step in making your RV experience even better is to choose one of Dish’s compatible antennae. These HD and portable options include the Playmate, the Tailgater, and the Tailgater HD King series, customized for King and Winegard. Next, you’ll need to get a Dish Wally HD receiver. The receiver comes with complete instructions for installation. Lastly, call a Dish Network representative to activate your TV.

And voila, you have service anywhere in the country – no WiFi or cell signal required. All you need to get Dish Network’s high-quality TV on your RV is a clear view of the southern sky!

Why should you go with Dish Outdoors?

Thanks to Dish Outdoors’ flexible setup for all of their RV options, you’ll never have to sign contracts because you can pay as you go. If you need it for just a month of travel and don’t plan on using it the next, just call to deactivate. If you get back out on the road, call to boot it back up! This method is great for seasonal campers who only hit the road for the summer and thus don’t want an annual contract. It’s also perfect for full-time campers whose schedule and location change often.

Additionally, you can make changes to your service and re/deactivate from the MyDish app. And should your family need it, you can upgrade to a DVR and record up to 100 hours of your favorite content, so entertainment is always there when you return from your expeditions. Quick, easy, and customizable!

Give Dish Outdoors a try, and see if it doesn’t take your RV experience to the next level!

In today's RV world, connectivity is everything. And Dish gives you a variety of options for bundling equipment, starting with antennas. Now, I could do a permanently mounted antenna up on top of this rig here that would do in motion. But if I go to the campground, I wanna park in the shade. I wanna cool this down. So, I don't have line of sight. So the portables are a really good option for that. And we have both the KING and the Wineguard version here, and they will automatically find the satellites no matter where you're at and lock into them. They have two different colors. Some people like the all black look, some people want the white to match some of their accessories. You can get 'em in one coax connection or two. And the nice thing about two coax connections with these, if we wanna watch tailgating outside, or NASCAR, or something like that, and somebody else isn't a real big fan, we can have a second TV with a satellite feed on the inside. The Wally is the receiver or the main heart of this system. And the nice thing about the Wally is people gotta realize when you're bringing electronics into an RV, you can't just bring something that would be normally used in a house that's temperature-controlled or climate-controlled. These are gonna get exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold weather, and bouncing going down the road. So the average electronic usually isn't gonna last very long inside. The Wally has been tested to be able to handle the rigors of the road, and temperature, and climate conditions that the RV world is into. So a variety of different options for bundling. Find out what one works best for you, and look at the dish system, and how you're gonna use it.
